start studying early/set a study schedule
The average person taking the insurance exam should expect to spend 35-40 hours studying to pass the property and casualty exam. You’ll want to print out the outline of the Statewide Property & Casualty Agent Exam so you understand what material will be covered in each of these topics, as well as how it will be weighted on the exam. the state test outline explains how many questions are included in each section of the test. we recommend that you focus on the sections with more questions so that you can master the key topics.

For your brain to absorb new information, it’s important that you do your best to avoid multitasking and focus on what you’re studying. this can be much easier said than done. You may find that setting up a study schedule over a period of a few weeks will help you create time where you can focus solely on preparing for the test. try to eliminate distractions around you, such as your phone, television, or the internet whenever possible.
