If you do not have a physician order for non-invasive lab or radiology services, you may order through our network of affiliated physicians/providers in select states for an additional non-refundable fee, as indicated (asynchronous consultation). Please note that an asynchronous consultation or diagnostic physician order service is not available for radiology tests that require intravenous contrast. patients who need an intravenous contrast diagnostic study must first complete an online visit with our physician and will likely also need a lab test for their kidney function before an intravenous contrast diagnostic study can be scheduled.
Once you request the order service from our provider or physician, you will receive an email from us requesting more details about your medical history. Based on the information you provide, one of our affiliated physicians or providers will make a decision about processing the order for the requested service. In some cases, as determined by our affiliated medical team, you may be required to provide additional clinical information or a more detailed online visit (an additional fee may apply) before your request can be processed. . Please note that in some situations, or based on available clinical information, our team may even decide not to process the requested diagnostic order service and may instead recommend that you seek immediate medical attention in person or visit the center nearest emergency or er. in that case, any advance payment for diagnostic services will be refunded, but the physician’s order or consultation fee will remain non-refundable.
Also note that any follow-up visits or treatment after the diagnostic service is not covered in this service fee and the ordering physician is not responsible for providing ongoing care unless you sign up for it. separate service.
