To get your certificate of completion, you must:

complete all chapters of topical study reading and topical study quizzes. Subject Study Tests must be passed with a score of 70% or higher.
complete and pass the mock exam with a score of 70% or higher.
after completing the study by subject reading and quizzes along with the mock exam, you must complete and pass the certification exam with a score of 70% or higher.
You should review the flashcards and VODs before attempting the certification exam for the Property & Casualty and Personal Lines courses.

how do i get my license?

step 1: complete a prelicensing course that has been approved by the new york department of financial services. Once you have completed your course, examfx will issue a certificate of completion that you can download and print from your examfx online account.

Step 2: Schedule your exam with your state’s testing provider, psi services llc. the fastest way to schedule your exam is to do it online at psi. You can also schedule your exam by phone at (800) 733-9267. Your exam can be taken at a physical psi exam center or through a remote online proctored exam.

To change or cancel your testing appointment, you must contact psi services llc at least 48 hours in advance or you will forfeit your exam fee. a voicemail or email message is not an acceptable form of cancellation. use the psi website or call psi to speak directly with a customer service representative.

Important Note: When you register for examfx pre-licensing courses, schedule your licensing exam, and/or apply for your license, it is important to use the same name that appears on the identification forms you plan to submit at the time of your registration. try quote.

Step 3: Take and pass your state licensing exam.
